The memoir is done, all 73,837 words of it. Let's hope some kind agent or publisher falls in love with it. It's been a journey of pain and joy, and I'm only half way there, landing in Seattle one rainy night on the last page. Volume 2 lurks but not until I've done my best to get Volume 1 published. Now I have to hone the synopsis, write chapter summaries and start sending it out places.
I'm printing it out on the back of the pages of the defunct first novel. Will read it over the next few days, and weed out the typos, repetitions and any other glaring mistakes.
